Lunch disappointment

Me: Thanks for making my lunch this morning.
Nick: That's ok Honey!
Me: (merrily packing my bag and going out the door)
Nick: (guiltily) erm.., I hope it's ok...
Me: Why?
Nick: I didn't actually make your lunch this morning. It's the sarnies I didn't eat from yesterday.


I suppose beggars can't be choosers.
